WELCOME TO THE ALL OUT COLLECTIVE
The All Out Collective provides creative, therapeutic and educational programming to 2SLGBTQ+ children, youth, and their families. Offering groups that are rooted in arts and creativity, skill and resiliency building and the importance of community and connection, the All Out Collective aims to meet the diverse needs of the 2SLGBTQ+ community in Hamilton and beyond.
CLASSES & RESOURCES
The True Colours Club is a ten week, arts based and social work supported program for Trans, Non-Binary and gender diverse children. The Club is offered in three age groups; 5-7 years old, 8-11 years old and our 12+ teen group. True Colours runs twice a year, in March and September with monthly events happening throughout the year to keep our kids and families connected and supported. The program focuses on creativity and imagination, identity celebration and affirmation, increasing self esteem and self-worth and community and friendship building.
The All Out Art program consists of art workshops offered by 2SLGBTQ+ artists and performers, for queer and trans children and youth in our community. The program offers individual lessons and workshops in a variety of disciplines including mixed media, sculpture, jewelry making, drama, improv and drag. . The lessons and pieces will focus on self-expression, storytelling, and social justice, and the youth will be supported by social workers to help build self-confidence, social skills, and friendships and support any needs that may arise throughout the group.
Families in Transition is a 10 week, virtual group for parents and caregivers of Trans, Non-Binary and gender diverse children and youth from ages 2-28. The program is offered three times a year; in January, April and September and is open to families across Canada. FIT takes place for two hours each week and is an interactive, educational and supportive environment facilitated by 2SLGBTQ+ social workers and community members.

The Families in Transition Community Cafe is for families and caregivers of Trans, Non-binary, and gender diverse children and youth who have completed the 10 week FIT program through the All Out Collective or other community organizations who are looking for ongoing connection.
The Cafe is a two hour, monthly virtual meetup created out of the expressed needs of caregivers who wanted continued education, support and community building after completing the FIT program. The monthly meetings will consist of check-ins, peer or facilitator support, guest speakers or selected topics around gender and parenting.

The True Colours summer camp is an arts-based summer day camp offered to Trans, Non-Binary and Gender Diverse youth through July and August. There are two weeks offered for our younger youth (5-12 years of age) and one camp offered specifically to our teens (12+ years of age). Our camps incorporate a variety of artistic modalities, outdoor games and activities, as well as community guests such as local drag kings and queens, inclusive sports league representatives and local 2SLGBTQ+ artists to teach our campers new skills and encourage emerging talents!

Trans Grands is a monthly, virtual program to provide support, education and connection for grandparents of Trans, Non-Binary and gender diverse grandchildren. Trans Grands provides grandparents with a safer space to explore topics relating to gender expression and gender identity, identify areas of struggle and uncertainty, and provide education and learning related to topics that will support them on their learning journey.
