WELCOME TO THE ALL OUT COLLECTIVE

The All Out Collective provides creative, therapeutic and educational programming to 2SLGBTQ+ children, youth, and their families. Offering groups that are rooted in arts and creativity, skill and resiliency building and the importance of community and connection,  the All Out Collective aims to meet the diverse  needs of the 2SLGBTQ+ community in Hamilton and beyond.  

CLASSES & RESOURCES

An arts-based, social work supported community program for gender diverse children ages 7-13 years of age.

Monthly meetings for parents and caregivers who have completed the FIT program for education, community and support.

Local 2SLGTQ+ artist workshops and programming for queer and trans youth aged 14+.

One week, arts and activity based summer day camp for gender diverse children aged 7-13 years of age. 

A ten week education, support and community building group for caregivers of trans, non-binary & gender diverse youth.

Book a custom workshop or training on a variety of 2SLGBTQ+ topics for your agency, organization or workplace.

MEET THE TEAM

HEATHER

Heather (she/they) is the creator of the All Out Collective & the imagination behind our programs! They have been a social worker in child and youth mental health for over 20 years & also brings lived experience as a neuroqueer, anxiety riddled, creative nerd. Heather was inspired to make All Out happen by the 2slgbtq+ children, youth & families she works - their incredible creativity & dreams of community ❤️

CHRISTOPHER

Christopher (he/him) is the graphic artist behind the visual design of the All Out Collective! His own struggles with ADHD and mental health inspired his belief in the importance of using art as a way to express emotion and to heal our traumas. Bringing 3+ decades of experience as a senior Art Director & activist Christopher wants to bring art and creativity into the lives of queer & trans youth to give them a path to create change. 🎨

KIERAN

Kieran (he/him) is the co-facilitator of the FIT program & has worked with children, youth & families for 35 years. Kieran is a trans man, partner, and parent of four children and two dogs. He is SOGIE facilitator, podcaster, you-tube presenter and trans awareness educator. 📖

JAMES

James (he/him) is a volunteer facilitator for the All Out Collective. He is a lifelong musician, weirdo, late-blooming queer, neuro-spicy and class conscious clown. James was welcomed into Heather’s vision and he couldn’t be happier to contribute in any and all ways that will support this community! 🎸

ALICIA

Alicia (they/them) is a student at McMaster University and completing their placement with the All Out Collective! They have been studying for 5 years and have been inspired by teachings on trauma informed practice, narrative therapy, and art-based therapy. They also bring lived experience as a crafty queer who loves asking the questions that matter, like “what is your favourite frog and why?” Alicia absolutely adores working with children and youth, and can’t wait to continue further down their colourful crafty journey with the All Out Collective! 🖌️

JOSELYNN

Joselynn (she/her) Joselynn is a workshop developer & facilitator! She has worked in regional, provincial, and international organizations. She specializes in newcomer and refugee issues, as well as nuances in identity, including 2SLGBTQI+ and disability. 🌎
